The Best RPGs On Xbox Game Pass (June 2024)

Xbox Game Pass has many fantastic titles from varying genres, and here is a look at the best RPGs the service has to offer.

Xbox Game Pass is closing out the month with two appealing titles: the 2023 Lords of the Fallen reboot by Hexworks and the award-winning puzzle game Humanity. The original Lords of the Fallen, released in 2014 on last-gen consoles, was considered by many to have been a solid game that fell under the radar and didn’t get the recognition it deserved. Co-developer CI Games apparently agreed and founded Hexworks in 2020 to develop the well-received reboot.

On the other end of the spectrum, Enhance Games’ Humanity offers a relaxing puzzle experience with a little bit of platforming and strategy tossed in. And most importantly, players take on the role of a Shiba Inu tasked with helping a rogue AI save mankind. Granted, that AI is what wiped out humans in the first place, but either way, the little dog must command hordes of humans to climb, swim, and float their way through each level. Additionally, Humanity supports player-created stages, and there are currently thousands to try out.

Xbox Game Pass Confirmed Titles for June 2024

  • Firework (PC Game Pass only) - June 4
  • Rolling Hills - June 4
  • Still Wakes the Deep - June 18

The coming month will undoubtedly see many more exciting titles added to Microsoft’s subscription service, though Xbox Game Pass has only confirmed three games for June so far. The puzzle horror game Firework will be added on June 4 along with Rolling Hills, a life sim about a robot running a sushi restaurant. The latest horror game from The Chinese Room, developer of Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture and Dear Esther, will rear its head in Still Wakes the Deep on June 18.
