June has now arrived and with it a wave of video game announcements. The Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase is planned to air on June 12 and will be packed with reveals for game releases in 2022 and beyond. The showcase isn't all that Xbox fans have to look forward to in June, however. Xbox Game Pass has already announced several game releases for June. But that's not all, the subscription service is also hinting that there are more Xbox Game Pass surprises left to come.As part of its June 2022 announcement, the Xbox Game Pass team slipped in a bit of a tease to close out its blog post. The message asks Xbox Game Pass fans to keep an eye on various social media channels for future announcements and release dates. Further, it mentions that it might have a "few surprises now and again" that Xbox Game Pass subscribers will want to watch out for.RELATED: Xbox Game Pass Adds Another Ubisoft Game TodayExactly what kind of surprises Xbox Game Pass has in store hasn't been confirmed, but given past years it's likely that the service has a variety of announcements to make this month. That includes additional game releases for the month of June, surprise announcements of games coming to the service immediately, new partners that will be bringing their games to the service on day one, and potentially new technical features or service expansions previously unknown.

The message from the Xbox Game Pass team pointed toward the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase on June 12 for its next update on what's in the works. Subscribers will have to watch the show to see what's next for Xbox Game Pass. It's unclear if there will be a section of the presentation dedicated to Xbox Game Pass or if news will simply be shared alongside each game's individual showcase.

What's also unclear is whether there will be further Xbox Game Pass events or announcements separate from the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase. There will obviously be the regularly scheduled reveals, at least for the second half of June. But there could be an Xbox Game Pass-specific showcase or an ID@Xbox event with additional reveals.

It's safe to assume that, regardless of what announcements Xbox makes and where it makes them, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be excited about what they hear in June. This is the biggest opportunity of the year to persuade new subscribers to check out Xbox Game Pass, so the service should deliver.
