Thanks to previous release date announcements, the Xbox Game Pass subscription service already has three day one games confirmed for June 2023. Xbox Game Pass is going into June coming off a mixed showing for May 2023 that saw some solid new additions to the lineup as well as one of its most high-profile flops to date.
Redfall earned mostly negative reviews from critics when it launched at the beginning of May, and since it was positioned as one of the big Xbox console exclusive games for Game Pass, it dealt the subscription service a significant blow. That doesn't mean that there weren't great new games added to Xbox Game Pass in May 2023, though. In fact, recent addition Cassette Beasts has earned rave reviews from critics, and Chicory: A Colorful Tale's addition on May 30 should be celebrated as well.
June 2023 should see plenty more new additions to the Xbox Game Pass lineup, but fans will have to wait for the month itself to actually roll around for Microsoft to share more details. Luckily, previous release date announcements have confirmed at least three day one games that will be part of the Xbox Game Pass June 2023 lineup. Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath - Vengance of the Slayer is coming to Xbox Game Pass on June 1, Amnesia: The Bunker is coming on June 6, and Dordogne is being added to the lineup on June 13.

Slayers X is a newly revealed game that serves as a spin-off of popular 2019 game Hypnospace Outlaw. A first-person shooter styled after the classic FPS games from the 90s, Slayers X looks like it should make for one of the more bizarre day one Xbox Game Pass games for 2023. Those interested can check it out beginning June 1.
Five days later, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be treated to day one horror game Amnesia: The Bunker, the latest installment in Frictional Games' acclaimed Amnesia horror series. Amnesia: The Bunker was originally supposed to be a part of the Xbox Game Pass May 2023 lineup, but it was delayed multiple times, eventually landing on its June 6 release date.
And finally, Dordogne is a narrative-driven adventure game with a gorgeous, watercolor art style that should help it stand out from the pack. It will be available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers come June 13, and it could very well be the sleeper hit of the June 2023 lineup.
