Microsoft is constantly adding new games to its Xbox Game Pass subscription service, but it also removes titles from the lineup regularly as well. While this is unfortunate, the bright side is that Microsoft gives Xbox Game Pass subscribers around two weeks notice before a game is given the boot, which gives them plenty of time to at least try it out and see if they want to buy it while it's at a discount.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers enjoy a 20% discount on games while they're available for Game Pass, so that way they don't have to pay full price if they choose to buy it to keep. Sometimes Xbox Game Pass subscribers get deals on other content as well, like DLC, and in fact, the expiration date for some of those DLC deals have led some to believe that one big game could be leaving the lineup soon.

As pointed out by Reddit user SavBeeing, the Xbox Game Pass 10% discount for Yakuza: Like a Dragon DLC is set to expire soon. This could be an indication that the critically-acclaimed Yakuza: Like a Dragon is set to be leaving the Xbox Game Pass lineup in the near future, either when this discount disappears or shortly thereafter. This would be significant as Yakuza: Like a Dragon was one of the first native Xbox Series X releases, and the next-gen version was even a timed-Xbox console exclusive. However, it must be stressed that this has not been confirmed at the time of this writing and so fans shouldn't fret just yet.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon was first added to Xbox Game Pass in June of 2021. Many games tend to last on Xbox Game Pass for about a year after they are first added to the service, so one would think that Like a Dragon would stay available until June of 2022. However, there are instances when Xbox Game Pass games are removed before a year is up, so it's still within the realm of possibility that Yakuza: Like a Dragon could be a part of the next batch of games leaving the service.

The good news is that Xbox Game Pass subscribers shouldn't have to wait all that long to find out for sure if Yakuza: Like a Dragon is leaving Xbox Game Pass or not. When it comes to games leaving Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft tends to reveal more information around the 15th of the month, which means that news on the situation could come as early as tomorrow, April 15. Then again, it's also possible Microsoft may wait until early next week to reveal the other games leaving Xbox Game Pass in April 2022, so fans will just have to stay tuned to find out more. We will update this article once Microsoft has confirmed the games leaving at the end of April.
