One of the biggest takeaways from watching Microsoft's most recent Xbox Series X reveal event was that Xbox Game Pass is going to be a huge deal for the company. The subscription-based model has already been touted by many as one of the best assets Microsoft currently has in its arsenal, allowing players to access a multitude of incredible experiences by paying one affordable, fixed monthly fee.

It seems there are some big upcoming plans for the service as well, with Xbox Head Phil Spencer remarking on the most recent episode of Animal Talking that players should expect some amazing things from the service in the months to come. Discussing Game Pass with the show's host Gary Whitta, Spencer was quick to highlight how integral it will be to Xbox going forward, revealing that the service will have some big games in the months to come.

"Our investment in Game Pass and that portfolio continues to be strong," Spencer tells Whitta on the show, hinting that "we’ve got some more really great, strong, announcements to come about things coming to Game Pass." He continues to elaborate that "what you’ll see from us around the launch of the console, frankly, isn’t going to change too much because you were going to hear a lot about the console and a lot about Game Pass and how we think those two things together are a really great value proposition for gamers going into the next generation."

It's clear that Spencer's very confident about the value and quality Xbox Game Pass will offer fans, and it's easy to see why as well. Costing $9.99 a month, players can already enjoy titles like Red Dead Redemption 2, The Outer Worlds, Gears 5, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and much more. With Spencer seemingly promising reams of other new games on top of the service's already incredible library, it's evident that Game Pass is quickly becoming one of the most enticing offers in the entire industry, especially for gamers on a budget.

Alongside Phil's big claims, industry insider Jeff Grub also commented on the service recently on Twitter, telling fans that another huge reason to purchase Game Pass would rear its head in the next few weeks. When one factors in that every game shown in the stacked Series X reveal event that took place last month will be on Game Pass - including Halo Infinite, Psychonauts 2, State of Decay 3, and, of course, Fable 4 - it's evident that Spencer and Xbox as a whole have huge plans for the incredible service.
