The second of the two Xbox Games with Gold for February 2023 is available now, as Guts 'N Goals replaces Autonauts. Guts 'N Goals will be available through March 15, while the first Xbox Games with Gold title for February 2023, For the King, will remain available through February 28.
The Xbox Games with Gold program has always been a tad predictable when it comes to its monthly releases. This wasn't too big of a deal at one point, but since Microsoft quit including Xbox 360 games on Games with Gold, the rotation of two games likely means fewer eyes are on it month after month. The first title of each month is usually available from the first of the month to the end of it, while the second game comes in halfway through the month and lasts until the same period too.
Guts 'N Goals is an arcadey, zaney take on a soccer simulator with beat 'em up elements. The soccer ball is not always that, sometimes being a blow-up volleyball or something else entirely instead, while sometimes using feet is not the only option. Guts 'N Goals also features a plethora of heroes with different abilities, stadiums that change the core rules of the games, and a selection of random mutators to make sure no two matches are alike. It joins For The King as part of this month's Xbox Games with Gold selection.

There's still time for those who have yet to claim For The King to do so. It's a classic "rise up and save the kingdom" story, but comes packed with fun features like local or online co-op. Perhaps the best way to describe For The King is a tabletop game made into a full-blown video game, packing the best of the mediums into a mystery surrounding a king's murder.
Of course, if neither game scratches someone's particular itch, a new title will replace For The King on March 1 and another one will replace Guts 'N Goals on March 16. Fans can expect Microsoft to announce these new titles in the coming weeks, as well as more announcements regarding the Xbox Game Pass games for March too.
