November 2021 marks the 20th anniversary of the Xbox and to celebrate, Microsoft announced a new line of limited edition items commemorating the gaming giant's upcoming birthday. The new commemorative accessories include controllers, headsets, charging stations, and a line of 20th anniversary Xbox merch.

While all of the recently announced products are likely going to be hot items due to their limited edition nature, the real standout is the new controller. Featuring the Xbox 20th anniversary logo as well as some of the classic green colors, the translucent black controller is a purposeful throwback to the original Xbox debug kit, according to the reveal announcement on Xbox Wire.

It seems like translucent gaming hardware might be making a comeback thanks to Microsoft as the 20th Anniversary Special Edition Xbox Stereo Headset also features the black see-through design. In addition to the translucent plastic, the headset sports the 20th-anniversary logo and is highlighted with the brand's classic electric green in multiple places. These aren't the only translucent plastic items that Microsoft has announced this year as the special edition Forza Horizon 5 controller also features the throwback style.

The final piece of gaming hardware included in the anniversary line is the Razer Universal Quick Charging Stand for Xbox controllers. Razer has made plenty of controller chargers compatible with Xbox, but this one features the anniversary logo front and center. When not in use, it's a great way to display a controller while also having the practical function of charging it at the same time. A combination purchase of the new controller along with the charging stand will make for a standout commemorative piece for anyone looking to celebrate the anniversary.

Alongside all of the new gaming hardware, Xbox revealed a new line of 20th-anniversary merch that includes the logo on t-shirts, hoodies, and hats as well as designs featuring assets from the original Xbox era. This isn't the only anniversary merch that the company has made this year as Xbox announced in May that it would be releasing limited-time 20th anniversary Halo and Xbox merch.

The official 20th anniversary of the brand is on November 15 and it seems like Xbox is going all out for the date. The newly announced items are currently available for preorder and are estimated to arrive at shipping addresses on November 15 in time to celebrate the anniversary. All items can be found on the Microsoft store with the exception of the charging station which must be bought directly from Razer.
