Highlights

  • WWE 2K24 released patch 1.11, focusing on MyGM improvements and minor character model updates.
  • Fans still find issues with character models and immersion, but developers are committed to an authentic WWE experience.
  • Patch 1.11 adjusts arena logistics prices and assets, with possible unannounced content and Easter Eggs.

WWE 2K24 has just released patch 1.11. This is a surprising release, as WWE 2K24's update 1.10 had only come out a day prior. 1.10 focused on the Post Malone DLC pack compatibility, but it also added new content within MyFaction among others. As with other patches, some quality-of-life fixes and minor adjustments were introduced to make the game more enjoyable.

However, many fans still believe there are a lot of things to fix within WWE 2K24. With each new character, arena, or feature added to the game, new compatibility concerns seem to arise. In the case of character models, some items of clothing seem to be missing, such as Sheamus' wristbands not being present during his entrance. While these can be considered minor concerns, they contribute to the fans' immersion within the game. Plus, 2K, Visual Concepts, and WWE have often stated how committed they are in providing the most authentic WWE experience for fans, and that could be an issue if not handled correctly.

CM Punk's recent WWE 2K24 return in a DLC pack is good reason to look back at his evolution throughout the years of many WWE video games.

WWE 2K24's patch 1.11 has gone live just a day after the previous update. Most of the notes state several adjustments to various arena logistics mechanics in MyGM. And while the clear focus seems to be on making WWE 2K24's MyGM more competitive and balanced, there have been some small unannounced updates with regard to character models as well. As an example, the previously added Randy Orton '09 now has the correct wrist tapes in the game. Similarly, the old Sheamus '09 character fixed the wristbands issue.

With every patch that comes out, content creators, dataminers, and modders look for ways to share and discover a lot of the unannounced content. Cases wherein models and entrances get added without much fanfare are like surprises that fill most fans with joy. This was the case when The Rock received a new face scan in the game. Surprisingly, WWE 2K24 seems to be adding new weapons secretly in patches. While no new ones have been found at the moment, it's not too long before the usual band of content creators share their findings with the latest patch. New patches and updates seem to be a treasure trove of Easter Eggs and secrets that WWE fans enjoy scouring through.
