Gameplay Settings In WWE 2K24

WWE 2K24 can be challenging using its default - or more challenging - settings. The computer-controlled wrestlers can seemingly kick out of every pin attempt and escape your submissions in WWE 2K24. Head into the Gameplay menu, and select Options to change the settings in WWE 2K24:

Difficulty: Easy mode will let you get adjusted to the mechanics. Normal mode is more challenging, but Hard mode feels more realistic. The Legend setting can feel somewhat unfair with the computer-controlled character kicking out of everything even if the sliders are balanced in your favor.
Weight Detection: Switch this on for more realistic matches with super heavyweights.

Weight detection gives superheavyweights like Vader, Andre the Giant, and Kevin Nash resistance against specific grapples early in the match.

Stamina Mode: Switch this to Normal so wrestlers can't endlessly run and hit heavy moves.
Pin Mini-Game: Player choice, but the timed mini-game gives you more control over kicking out.

Trading Blows: A new feature for WWE 2K24. Switch this on for a back-and-forth battle.
Allow held input for mini-games - choose between holding the button or mashing it.
Rope Break (Automatic): Switch it off for realism. You can manually make your wrestler reach for the ropes.
Auto-Reversal for Ground Attacks: Switching this on auto reverses repeated strikes on your grounded wrestler.
Entrance Run-In (Play Mode): Choose whether rivals or the opponent's teammates interfere during entrances or wrestlers can break out and attack during the walk-in.
Mid-Match Run-In (Play Mode): Wrestlers can only call for help with a Payback or run-ins randomly occur when switched off.
Post-Match Run-In (Play Mode): Run-ins can occur after matches. It works well in Universe Mode to set up future rivalries.
Blood: Switch this on to take advantage of the new blood mechanics in WWE 2K24.
Edited/Created Superstars: Switch this to Allowed and custom superstars can compete in Universe mode.

Ramp Camera: Changes the camera angle to point at the entrance ramp. Ideal for Royal Rumble matches in WWE 2K24.
Camera Cuts: Switch it on to provide cinematic angles for big moves.
Camera Shakes: Switch it on If you want the camera to shake during big moves for effect.

Reversal Prompt: Switch on to learn the timing for reversals. Switch it off for immersion.
Reversal Input Feedback: Switch it on so you know if you pressed too late or early.
Breaker Input Feedback: Switch off if you don't want to see the feedback on the screen.
Instant Recovery, Ring Escape, and Possum Attack Prompts: Switch these on until they become second nature.
Display Referee Counts: Switch these on to keep track of ring-outs.

Balancing Settings In WWE 2K24

The Legend difficulty can be challenging in WWE 2K24 especially if you're hoping to beat Roman Reigns with WWE Legend Bruno Sammartino to unlock the trophy/achievement. However, these settings can balance the scales in your favor and make matches more fun.

The balancing settings are only valid for Exhibitions, Showcase, and Universe modes. They don't apply to online matches or MyFaction.
