WWE and 2K Sports are back together for another annual release of the wrestling company's flagship video game franchise. In WWE 2K24, the professional wrestling giant pays homage to their biggest event of each year, Wrestlemania, as 2024 marks its 40th anniversary. With a Wrestlemania rematch coming between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes in 2024, the game will take a look back at some of the other memorable rivalries that made it to the WWE's "Grandest Stage of Them All".
To celebrate and acknowledge the 40th edition of Wrestlemania, WWE 2K24's Showcase Mode, which has previously put the spotlight on iconic wrestlers like John Cena and Rey Mysterio, will focus on some of the greatest matches and moments to ever happen in their "Showcase of the Immortals", ranging from iconic clashes at Wrestlemania 3 all the way to the dramatic main event of Wrestlemania 39. For players who have completed the first challenge and are now into the second match, here is everything you need to know to complete Hulk Hogan vs Andre the Giant and earn the in-game rewards.

Match 1 of WWE 2K24's WrestleMania Showcase is called Dragon's Roar and features the match between Ricky Steamboat and Macho Man Randy Savage.
WWE 2K24 Giants Among Men Objectives (Match 2)
The second match of the WWE 2K24 Wrestlemania Showcase features 11 in-game objectives that you will need to complete while playing as one of the top Legends in the game, Hulk Hogan. In this match, he puts his 3-year WWE Championship reign on the line against his former friend, Andre the Giant, who hasn't tasted defeat in over 15 years. To win the match and earn all of the respective rewards, you will need to complete the following:

A Light Combo will have Andre seeing stars! | Complete a Light Combo by repeatedly pressing Square/X against a standing opponent |
Andre's fighting back! Do your best to Block or Reverse his next attack! | Press Triangle/Y when prompted to dodge or reverse an attack, or hold the same button to put your arms up in a blocking stance. |
You want to win, then you have to hurt this giant! Enough focused offense on any limb should get him to Moderate (Orange) Damage! | This is more effectively done on a grounded opponent, as there are easier options for targeting your opponents body parts individually. |
Stay on the attack here, Andre's not backing down at all! | Continue to inflict damage on Andre using strikes, diving attacks and grappling. Be sure to mix up your offense to avoid being countered. |
Continue to wear Andre down by sending him into the ropes and hitting 3 Rebound Attacks! | Irish Whip Andre by grappling him with Circle/B, the pressing it again and a directional button. After he rebounds from the ropes, press X/A, Circle/B, or Square/X to attack. |
Time to take control! Get Andre in the corner and unleash 3 Corner Attacks! | Irish Whip Andre into any corner, then attack him in the corner by pressing X/A, Circle/B, or Square/X while he is leaning against the turnbuckle |

Hulk Hogan vs Andre the Giant Match 2 Rewards
While they are not compulsory, you will need to complete all 11 objectives in the Giants Among Men Wrestlemania Showcase match in order to unlock the playable characters involved in the challenge. Not only that, but you'll be able to use the Wrestlemania 3 arena used in this showcase for all future matches. For completing Match 2 of WWE 2K24's showcase mode, you will receive:

For players who purchased the Forty Years of Wrestlemania Edition of WWE 2K24, these characters will already be unlocked. The unlocked wrestlers can be identified on each of their individual superstar icons, as they will have an "SHC" symbol in the top-left corner to indicate they are a Showcase reward.
