Several character models of WWE Superstars who were not part of the WWE 2K23 were found in the game files. While the full WWE 2K23 roster is already jam-packed with over 170 playable wrestlers, this still doesn't include alternate versions. However, even with the large number, some fans still took notice of some notable omissions.Ideally, wrestlers who were hired late or those who just don't make the cut are presented as DLC content or offered via the season pass. The full WWE 2K23 DLC roster has already been revealed, and sadly, a lot of current roster members are still missing. Characters like Bronson Reed, Candice LeRae, and Mia Yim, among others, are not present in the game, despite having other wrestlers who made their debut after the aforementioned ones have become mainstays on television. However, a modder recently uncovered news that might sound good to those missing some of the names.RELATED: WWE 2K23: 5 Best Improvements Over 2K22WWE 2K23 modder WhatsTheStatus discovered several new models present in the game after the latest WWE 2K23 patch. Apart from the new versions of Finn Balor and Damian Priest, models for Candice LeRae and Mia Yim have been found. This might be the first time that an unannounced character has been patched in. While WhatsTheStatus notes that the models are purely 3D meshes with textures, no other files were patched in. This means that Yim and LeRae do not have commentary identifiers or other important details.

The discoveries were found after patching WWE 2K23 to version 1.08. These findings were not included in the patch notes, so most fans are wondering what the purpose of this addition was. None are complaining though, as WhatsTheStatus revealed that there were more new files signifying future updates such as attires for Bray Wyatt, Charlotte Flair, Big E, Dolph Ziggler, and Randy Orton. The only problem with these items were that they were implied to be exclusive to MyFaction mode, and that officially, they won't be usable in other modes.

WhatsTheStatus is not a stranger to uploading hidden WWE 2K23 models. In the same day, he was able to upload both Yim and LeRae with complete move sets, entrances, and attributes. Those looking to add more people to their roster can take up a CAS slot in-game and download the creation. The characters possess official WWE 2K23 models that help them blend in better with the base game roster. Fans are hoping that the purpose of these models be revealed, and that they be added officially to the game's roster, especially since they were present during the previous years.

WWE 2K23 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
