The WWE superstar Dominik Dijak has recently proposed a change to his character in WWE 2K23: for the game to ditch his old persona T-Bar and use his current alias Dijak instead. Wrestlers change their branding all the time, and sometimes it’s hard to keep up with all the changes, so this change could make WWE 2K23 become more up-to-date with the current wrestling scene.WWE 2K23 was a fairly big hit among wrestling fans. Not only the game got some pretty good reviews, but WWE 2K23 has over 200 superstars, with just over half of them being available right from the start. This gives players a major selection of stars to pick. However, some of them are currently absent from the title, and one wrestler does not seem very happy about this.RELATED: WWE 2K23 Player Accidentally Invents a New MoveThe WWE star Dijak has recently suggested that WWE 2K23 should change the name and appearance of his character from T-Bar to Dijak. In the social media post, Dijak says he “appreciates the hard work and effort” of the developers, but that he would really like to see this change, as he abandoned the T-Bar persona for quite some time now. While Dijak started his career back in 2013 using his current alias, it was changed to T-Bar in 2020 when he joined the Retribution stable. The group was eventually disbanded, and he changed his brand to Dijak in November 2022, several months before the launch of WWE 2K23. However, the game failed to acknowledge this change in time for the release, and the wrestler is not pleased with that.

It’s not uncommon for WWE 2K23 to add new characters. So, a few WWE 2K23 fans started discussing whether it was feasible to believe that the change would actually be made. YouBeliefs316, for instance, affirmed that the developers changed Shinsuke Nakamura to King Nakamura at some point, which would set a precedent for changing characters. Acidhologramme, however, reminded them that both of these were separate characters, though, not an update. So, the question remains open.

While fans argue about new characters, WWE 2K23 continues to receive updates. The new 1.10 update brought in a fan-favorite feature, which was the presence of tired finishers. This allowed some wrestlers to collapse after using finishing moves in case they were too tired and was a very popular feature that appeared in previous games of the franchise, but not in WWE 2K23 when it was released.

WWE 2K23 is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
