WWE 2K23 players have already begun recreating the new World Heavyweight Championship title, which was recently unveiled on WWE Monday Night Raw. Players may create custom titles in WWE 2K23 and share them with other players by using the game's Creation Suite.

WWE 2K23 celebrates 20 years of John Cena's prolific career as a WWE superstar with a comprehensive Showcase mode featuring his biggest losses. Additionally, several of the WWE 2K franchise's mainstay features return including the MyFaction, MyRise, and MyGM modes. WWE 2K23 players may create their own superstars, arenas, and championship titles by accessing the Creation Suite as well. The recent reveal of the new World Heavyweight Championship inspired one player to fully recreate the title in WWE 2K23's Creation Suite.

WWE 2K23 player and TikTok user Colonelstutters recreated the new World Heavyweight Championship title and shared a time-lapse video of the entire process. The player used aspects of the original World Heavyweight Championship to serve as the base of the new custom title. Moreover, parts of the NXT UK Championship and WWE Universal Championship titles were incorporated into the custom World Heavyweight Championship title. After finishing the new World Heavyweight Championship title, Colonelstutters shared the design in WWE 2K23's Community Creations feature for all players to use in their version of the game.

The new World Heavyweight Championship was unveiled by WWE chief content officer Triple H on the April 24 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw. The WWE Undisputed Universal Championship would be tied to the show that champion Roman Reigns is drafted to during the WWE Draft, leaving Raw or SmackDown without a world champion. As a result, Triple H decided that a new champion should be crowned for the show that Roman Reigns is not drafted to. This new champion will be determined in a World Heavyweight Championship match taking place at the Night of Champions show on May 27.

Although the World Heavyweight Championship designed by Colonelstutters is not an exact recreation, the custom title looks stunning and represents the prestige built up by former champions from WCW and WWE. Any WWE 2K23 player may download the new World Heavyweight Championship by visiting Community Creations, and more players will likely create their own version of the title in the weeks and months to come.

WWE 2K23 players may also enjoy multiple DLC packs releasing this summer by purchasing the Season Pass. All purchases of WWE 2K23 Icon Edition include the Season Pass and bonus DLC such as Bad Bunny and the Ruthless Aggression Pack. Next month, the Pretty Sweet DLC pack launches with playable superstars Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Tiffany Stratton, and Pretty Deadly.

WWE 2K23 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
