WWE 2K23 developer Visual Concepts confirms that advanced options for custom entrances are returning after the feature was skipped over in WWE 2K22. For many fans, one of the best parts of these games is to create their own custom superstar, whether an original creation or something loosely interpreting another, and the granularity of that customization goes a long way. WWE 2K23 is embracing its marketing phrase of "Even Stronger" by upping the customizable entrances of the new iteration.

For context, WWE 2K22 did have custom entrances, but the developer forewent any advanced options. While some players are happy just making some simple choices, others want full control of every element of the entrance, such as advanced lighting options, more control of every moment of the entrance, and so on. WWE 2K22 skipped this feature because it was one of the major reasons that WWE 2K20 was so unstable, resulting in many bugs, glitches, and crashes. But it's back for WWE 2K23, Visual Concepts revealed to Game ZXC in a recent deep dive session.

The entire advanced suite has been reworked from the ground up for WWE 2K23, allowing for advanced creation that doesn't impact the stability of the game. It remains to be seen how this system works in totality, but its return is definitely welcome. Not only does the creation suite feature new advanced options for create-an-entrances, but as a whole, it is coming with 600 new customizable parts as well. Create-an-Arena is also seeing new stage parts and props added, with the ability to take these custom arenas online. What's clear from this is how much work Visual Concepts put into upping the customization in the new game.

With such deep customization options, it'll likely please fans to be able to take these custom superstars and their entrances into WWE 2K23's WarGames, into its MyRise mode, and so on. It's also noteworthy because it's just one part of a rather expansive game. Fans of customization will likely enjoy these options, as long as they stick the landing, but there's also John Cena's Showcase mode to consider.

John Cena's WWE 2K23 Showcase Mode embraces his "Never Give Up" mantra and covers some of his greatest losses. It's easy to say "never give up" when someone is always winning, but this Showcase Mode will really delve into that meaning. Between all the game modes, the customization suite options, and match types, WWE 2K23 looks to be living up to the mantra of its Showcase Mode and marketing.

WWE 2K23 will release on March 17, 2023, for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
