WWE 2K20 is out now, and to say the professional wrestling game is having some issues would be an understatement. Earlier today, #FixWWE2K20 was the #1 trend on Twitter, as fans have discovered a significant number of glitches when playing the game. Various WWE 2K20 glitch videos have been making their way online, but there's one in particular that perfectly encapsulates the absurdity of the glitches players have been encountering in WWE 2K20.

This WWE 2K20 glitch, shared by Twitter user Marcos Bravo, is a multi-layered one, taking place in a match between Dakota Kai and Ronda Rousey. The trouble begins when Kai attempts to powerbomb Rousey on a set of steel steps. Before Kai can even bring Rousey down for the move, the steps start sinking into the ring, looking like Johnny Depp at the end of A Nightmare on Elm Street or something. Rousey, to her credit as a true professional in the sport, still manages to take a bump on the thin air where the steps used to be, and then rolls to the ropes, selling her back.

And then all hell breaks loose.

The other objects in the ring start shaking as though the arena is experiencing an earthquake, or perhaps a Tyrannosaurus Rex from Jurassic Park is stomping around nearby. Rousey then becomes entangled in the ring ropes, which shake violently as Kai and the referee suddenly squat to the ground and start walking in a bizarre manner that looks like it belongs in a horror movie. The ref then becomes trapped in the ropes with Rousey before the clip cuts off.

This absurd WWE 2K20 glitch is just one of many that has been shared online since the game's launch. It appears as though the game has some significant technical issues that weren't ironed out ahead of release, and while they make for some rather hilarious clips, it's safe to say that some fans are genuinely unhappy with the quality of the product they purchased.

Another issue with WWE 2K20 that seems to be upsetting fans is the lack of the WWE 2K20 Originals mode in the game. Some of the marketing for WWE 2K20 ahead of launch seemed to suggest that the Originals mode, which includes "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt as a playable character, would be in the game at launch. However, it turns out that the Originals mode with The Fiend isn't actually coming to the game until October 28. This has left a bitter taste in some fans' mouths, especially since The Fiend is prominently shown in the game's home screen.

Whether the removal of Yuke's as a developer or some other issue is to blame for the problems with WWE 2K20, it's hard to say. However, one has to hope that there will be patches released down the road to iron out some of its more glaring issues.

WWE 2K20 is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
