Chixia is a Fusion-Element pistol wielder in Wuthering Waves that players unlock from the start by completing the introductory missions. She is a long-range Resonator with a focus on burst attacks. Despite her clear potential, Chixia can be challenging to build for two main reasons: 1) there are currently limited Fusion Echo options for her, and 2) her unique playstyle makes it hard to determine her best priority. Best Build for Chixia

As a main DPS, Chixia requires a 5-Star Wuthering Waves weapon like the Static Mist. However, players without this item can also use Novaburst or Undying Flame. To maximize Chixia's damage, players should focus on her Crit Rate, Crit Damage, and Base ATK. She also benefits from her first Resonance Chain node, No. 1 Hero Play Fan, as it turns all her Boom Boom hits into Critical Hits.

For a reliable META comp, players are encouraged to pair Chixia with Encore. Bust since Chixia and Encore both lack durability, they must be accompanied by a support unit such as Baizhi or Verina.

Pistol#26 is the best F2P weapon option for Chixia.

Best Echoes for Chixia

A 4-3-3-1-1 Echo build is ideal for Chixia, with a 4-Cost Fusion Damage Echo like Inferno Rider in the front to maximize her output. Using five Fusion Echoes in the team is also effective, as it unlocks the Molten Rift Sonata Effect set bonus, which increases Chixia’s Resonance Skill DMG by 30% for 15 seconds.

Chixia’s Skill Priority

Chixia’s Forte is crucial in combat, as she is a Skill-first Resonator. To maximize her Fusion Damage, players should prioritize her Basic Skill, followed by her Forte Circuit and Resonance Skill. Here is the best Forte priority for Chixia:

Gameplay Strategy for Chixia

Chixia is a build-up character, meaning she needs to use targets on the battlefield to build up her skills before unleashing her true power. The player’s primary focus should be filling up Chixia’s Thermobaric Bullet gauge and then hitting the main target with her DAKA DAKA!

Step one: Build up her Thermobaric Bullets. Each time Chixia hits a target with her Basic ATK, she earns a special bullet that fills the red bar above her HP. When she has 60 bullets in her magazine, she can perform DAKA DAKA!, which is a rapid-fire mode for her gun.

Step two: Use DAKA DAKA on the biggest enemy. Once Chixia’s Thermobaric Bullets are ready, hold the Resonance Skill button (her sliding move) to unleash DAKA DAKA. This attack deals massive Fusion DMG to nearby enemies and lasts until Chixia runs out of bullets.

Step three: Exploit Chixia’s Dodge Counter. Her Basic Attack, Pow Pow, gains a passive buff each time the player attacks an enemy after a successful dodge.
