In the Hero of the Leap quest in Wuthering Waves, players must complete four Overdash Challenges, where Rovers must avoid touching the ground and stay on walls and rooftops. You can find the optimal route using the sensor in Wuthering Waves, but it can be annoying to switch between sensor and grapple, so it's better to simply learn the route before moving.

There's no time limit to the challenge, so Wuthering Waves Rovers are free to take their time and assess the best way to reach the finish spot. Additionally, even though the challenge demands players to avoid touching the ground, some areas appear to not count as one, allowing players to slightly cheat the system to finish the challenge faster.

  • Jump to the roof, then to the roof nearby.
  • Once near the white wall, climb up, then walk along the ledge. Do not touch the ground.
  • Jump to the roof down below, then cross to the roof on the other side of the stairs. Grapple twice and dash mid-air if necessary.
  • Climb up the white walls again. Here, players can walk on the building instead of on the ledge; it won't cancel the challenge.
  • Go over the wall and glide to the finish line.
