How To Play Jianxin In Wuthering Waves

Jianxin Forte Priority In Wuthering Waves

Jianxin is an Aero Gauntlet user in Wuthering Waves. Typically, if a character has Crit in their Stat bonus, it means the intention is to make Jianxin a reliable DPS. However, Jianxin underperforms compared to the other characters in the roster, even the 4-star ones. The main reason for this is her kit, which is stacked with defensive and Supportive abilities that let her shine brighter as a Support.

Therefore, instead of forcing the monk as a DPS, players can instead build Jianxin in Wuthering Waves to be a support, where she doubles as a buffer and shielder/minor healer at the same time.

Best Jianxin Echoes In Wuthering Waves

Since Jianxin’s DMG is underwhelming, it’s better to play her as a full Support in Wuthering Waves. For that, build Jianxin with 5pc of Moonlit Clouds to maximize her Supporting abilities. It will grant her a 10% Energy Regen buff and the ability to increase her team’s ATK. For her main Echo, go for Impermanence Heron since it recharges her energy on hit and increases the next character’s DMG. For her Echoes’ stats, prioritize Energy Regen and ATK. This build will fully embrace her role as a Support and amplify her ability to shield, heal, and CC enemies.

There are many other options to build Jianxin from, such as 5pc of Rejuvenating Glow and 5pc of Lingering Tunes. You can even combine two of the three Echo sets to get 10% ATK, 10% Energy Regen, or 10% Healing Bonus. The Rejuvenating Glow can allow Jianxin to run as the sole Support for the team by maximizing the healing she can give while shielding her allies. As for Lingering Tunes, all of Jianxin’s kit, whether it’s DMG, shielding, or even healing scale with her current ATK, so building her with an Echo set that greatly buffs her ATK can be viable.

Best Jianxin Weapons In Wuthering Waves

The best weapon for Jianxin is Abyss Surges in Wuthering Waves since it grants her everything she needs. A great amount of ATK% on top of decent Energy Regen stats. Jianxin becomes one of the best Supports in Wuthering Waves when she wields Abyss Surges.

For other choices, go with Marcato to have an easier time casting her Resonance Liberation on every rotation. Gauntlets of Voyager has the same exact passive as Marcato but with 3-star weapon stats. It can still be decent, but Jianxin will lose a lot of ATK, which will hurt her shielding and healing scaling. However, her powerful CC can still make up for all those losses until a better Gauntlet is available.

If none of these options are within reach, then go for Hollow Mirage or Gauntlets of Night since they carry a good amount of ATK for her.

How To Play Jianxin In Wuthering Waves

Jianxin is a character that has all of Wuthering Waves utilities in one kit. She can take hard hits like no other while dealing an acceptable amount of DMG. The best way to make the most of what Jianxin can offer is by pairing her with DPS who heavily depends on their Resonance Liberation.

After that, get her on the field, build her Forte Gauge, and use her Heavy ATK to maximize her shield and healing. Finally, use her Resonance Liberation and switch with another DPS to collect all enemies in one place for them while buffing their Resonance Liberation Deepen by 38%. This will allow the DPS in her team to inflict the most amount of single or AoE DMG.

Jianxin Forte Priority In Wuthering Waves

Since all of Jianxin’s utility comes from her Forte Circuit, prioritize leveling it up. Her Resonance Liberation and Basic ATK could come in second place but only to slightly increase her DMG since she’ll use them often to build her Forte Gauge. As for Resonance and Intro Skills, leaving them without leveling is fine since Jianxin barely gets any DMG from them.
