Wuthering Waves has an ample number of quests and rewards for players to choose from. Most of the quests are fairly easy to access, but some are hidden. The latter examples don’t always give players enough clues to work on and can sometimes be difficult to complete. On top of that, Wuthering Waves loves to incorporate riddles into its story, so most of the clues need to be read with a different meaning.
There is a side quest called Lost History that can be triggered after talking to the Junior Engineer near the Overwatch Camp. She will lead you to a broken lighthouse and ask for help with fixing it. This is somewhat like a tutorial as the Junior Engineer will tell you how to fix it and read the signs to find the buried treasure in the area. The navigation will then send you to the historian in Jinzhou who will commission the Rover to find the other 4 lighthouses. Unfortunately, there is no navigation to point Rovers in the direction of the other lighthouses. So, follow this guide to find each location and the hidden treasures that come with it.
Wuthering Waves: How To Use The Sensor and Levitator
Wuthering Waves is filled with new mechanics for players to learn. The Sensor and Levitator mechanics are two of many that are essential to exploring.
Lighthouse Location 1 – Overwatch Camp
As mentioned earlier, the first Lighthouse can be found in the Camp Overwatch sub-region. It will be a couple of hundred meters ahead of the Resonance Beacon. The only way to trigger the quest is by talking to the Junior Engineer at the foot of the hill and following her back up to the Lighthouse.
Lighthouse Location 2 – Tiderise Cliff
Next, head to the Resonance Beacon at Tiderise Cliff to find the second Lighthouse. Since the Lighthouse is abandoned, you will have to reconnect the power lines to have it functioning again. There are two battery packs in the vicinity, so just use the Levitator tool to pick them up and place them inside the power cell. Once done, head up the Lighthouse and hack the system.
You’ll then have a small riddle to solve once the story is done playing. Just turn your view slightly toward your right, and you’ll spot a glowing light on the ground. Glide down and investigate it to dig up a chest that you can claim.
Lighthouse Location 3 – Nameless Bay
Lighthouse number 3 can be found near the sub-region Shattered Blocks. There will be some ruins and an Infrastructure Division Member that you need to talk to before unlocking the lighthouse. There’s a small challenge that you will have to complete here once you insert the battery into the power cell.
You need to follow the red line and hit/attack all the structures it shows you in the correct order. The line will turn blue once activated; so make sure to hurry before the time runs out. You can then climb the warehouse and hack into the system to hear the riddle. You’ll be able to find another glowing light right behind you on the ground. Glide down to investigate it and you’ll receive another chest.
Lighthouse Location 4 – Frosting Harbour
The next Lighthouse location can be found at the edge of the cliff near Frosting Harbour. Just teleport to that region and head straight on the map. The building will be covered in thorns and players will need to pick up the firebomb to the left of them. You can use the Levitator gadget here as well, and aim the bomb to hit the lighthouse. Remember not to get too close as the item will return to its original place.

Once the thorns have been cleared, head up the lighthouse and hack into the system again. After the riddle ends, you will need to adjust your time to 6.00 AM in Wuthering Waves to be able to see the glowing spot again. It will be behind you near the bridge, so just glide on over when you spot it. You’ll be able to once again claim another chest.

There are many different Echoes that can be obtained in Wuthering Waves, each offering various perks or Sonata Effects.
Lighthouse Location 5 – Dim Forest
The final lighthouse is in Dim Forest and a little way off the map. It stands on the edge of a cliff and is covered in thorns. The bombs closest to it are also covered in thorns, so you will need to use the available bomb south of the lighthouse. It is located near a tree. Throw that bomb onto the nearest bush of thorns. This will unlock the Bomb 2. Bomb 2 can be used to unlock Bomb 3. This is because there is a certain distance each Bomb can travel.
Finally, use Bomb 3 and aim it at the lighthouse to remove the thorns. Then, hack into the system and after the riddle is complete, glide behind the lighthouse towards the Tacet Discord you see. The glowing spot will be next to it as well. Just investigate it again to receive the chest.
Talk To The Historian At Jinzhou
Once you have found all the lighthouses, you need to go back to the historian in Jinzhou City. He will give you a Premium Supply Chest which has 40 Astrides and a Trophy: May The Beacons Guide Us.
