The world of Wuthering Waves is vast and has many opportunities for players to advance. Players familiar with similar game mechanics may find it easier to pick up, but it could be a slight struggle for players who aren’t. Wuthering Waves incorporates new fighting styles and resonance (elemental) skills, which can take some getting used to. This is especially needed when fighting bosses. In the game, open-world bosses are considered to be 4-cost Echos.

This means that they cost 4 points to be equipped to a character in order to create a set that gives them boosted stats. 4 Cost Echos are the rarest and most effective. Obtaining two Echos of the same Sonata (Element) will give Resonators an even greater boost, known as the Sonata Effect. The Lampylumen Myriad Echo Boss is just one of the many Overlord world bosses that can be found in the Tacit Fields around Solaris - 3. However, players should keep in mind that the Overlord Echos are the second-best Echo that can be farmed, with the Calamity ones coming in first.

Lampylumen Myriad Echo Location In Wuthering Waves

Where to Find Lampylumen Myriad Echo

Wuthering Waves- Lampylumen Myriad Boss Location

Unlike most world bosses, the Lampylumen Myriad is a little difficult to find as it is located underground. Players will notice that many of the supposed Resonance Beacons near the boss will not even lead to it. There is, however, an underground Beacon that can only be accessed by going underneath Tiger’s Maw Mine.

Simply teleport to Resonance Beacon - Tiger’s Maw Mine and head right towards the opening in the center of the mine. There will be a massive hole in the middle you’ll need to jump into. There are some grappling hooks, but Resonators don’t really take fall damage when you drop from a certain height. So just fly for a bit and drop into the Dust Sealed Track. You then need to head east towards a small opening in some rocks. Keep following that same route until you spot the underground Resonance Beacon.

The area is completely frozen; that’s how you’ll know you’ve entered the route to the Boss location.

How To Beat The Lampylumen Myriad Echo In Wuthering Waves

Wuthering Waves- Lampylumen Boss Fight

If players aren’t familiar with the Wuthering Waves game mechanics, fighting this boss can be a little difficult, but it’s not impossible. The boss is relatively slow in movement compared to the Crownless Echo Boss, but its attacks come in waves.

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • A key move of the Lampylumen Myriad Echo that players need to watch out for are the three consecutive attacks it deals. You’ll notice this when it moves to the middle of the area, jumps in the air, and stomps the ground 3 times. This attack deals AOE Glacio DMG to any character in the vicinity. To successfully survive this, you can either run away from the boss to keep some distance or use the grapple to fly above it until it finishes the attack. The grapple method doesn’t last long, so you will eventually fall and receive some sort of damage.
  • You can also time yourself effectively enough to jump right before it slams its attack into the ground.
  • The boss also teleports. It turns invisible and will immediately reappear somewhere else, which can be extremely frustrating during this fight. It will turn into ice, disappear, and reappear with a slasher attack. Immediately hit the dodge button to try and evade. The attack will happen 4 times before it flies and then drops for a final slasher attack. You can also master the art of jumping and evading whilst in the air. This might give resonators a chance to effectively dodge any annoying slashes that you miss.
  • Once the main shield is broken, the Lampylumen Myriad will be down, and you’ll have around 5–8 seconds to spam your attack before it gets up again. Use this opportunity to spam your DPS and finish the fight. If you don't kill it within that time, worry not because the boss is weaker and easier to kill since its HP is towards the lower end now.
  • After completing the battle for the first time, Rovers will receive a Cross The Boundless Fog Trophy along with some rewards.

Best Characters for Lampylumen Myriad Boss Fight

Almost all characters can be used to fight this boss, but any Resonators who use the Fusion element are perfect for quickly breaking its shield. Right now, the only Fusion Resonators in Wuthering Waves are Chixia, Encore, and Mortefi. Chixia is a Resonator players receive early on in the game and her skill would work effectively in breaking the Lampylumen’s shield.

However, during the game's early stages, options are limited in finding the right Echoes for your characters. So, it might be safer to bring a healer into your team, such as Baizhi.
