Raszageth

Dathea, Ascended will challenge your raid's coordination in Vault of the Incarnates, the Season 1 raid for World of Warcraft: Dragonflight. After making a deal with Raszageth, she controls the power of wind itself and unleashes a storm of fury your way. Our guide for Dathea will have you ready to tackle anything she throws at you.

Dathea Abilities

Note that any numerical values are based on the raid’s Normal Mode.

Dathea Strategy Guide

The fight may seem complex, but Death is actually a pretty simple encounter. It's all about making sure you're staying away in a good spread and killing the adds when you're supposed to.

Dathea Phase 1

You'll tank Dathea in the middle of the platform. When the main tank has 3 stacks of Zephyr Slam, the off tank should taunt.

Have the raid spread out on one half of the room like so. This will not only make it easy to deal with Conductive Marks, but also ensure that everyone is always on the same side of the platform from the knockback the adds do upon death.

WoW Dragonflight Vault Dathea Boss

When Conductive Mark goes out, stay away from the blue circles around players. We recommend those affected by Conductive Mark to remain still and have the rest of the raid move around them. If you spread it to others, the debuff timer resest, making it harder to deal with.

Keep in mind that tornados will be moving places. Arrows indicate the direction they move; these are honestly easy to deal with so long as you're quick on your feet and paying attention.

Dathea Phase 2

When the adds spawn, have a tank pick them up and bring them to the edge of the room where the raid is loosely stacked. From there, we recommend killing the mobs as close together as possible. They do not share health, so be careful about dealing too much damage to one add other the other. Ensure that your player model is facing the adds, with your back towards the rest of the room. When the knockback happens, this gives you plenty of real estate to land safely. If you kill the adds close together, you'll only have to deal with one knockback instead of two.

After the adds are down, phase one begins. Rinse and repeat to kill the boss.

Dathea Heroic Mode

  • Numerical values for boss health and damage from abilities increases.
  • Conductive Mark debuff lasts for 15 seconds, not 10.
  • In phase two, only one add spawns on the floor with you. The other spawns on an additional platform along with the Thunder Caller adds. You'll want to have the knockback send you to the upper platform to deal with the additional adds. Use the knockback to fly back to Dathea's platform.
  • Being on the upper platform gives you a stacking DOT debuff.
  • Interrupt Storm Bolt from the Thunder Caller adds if possible.
  • Aerial Slash means that the Volatile Infuser adds are doing more damage.

Dathea Loot Table

The ilvl for Dathea's Loot Table varies by the raid's difficulty. Normal loot has an ilvl of 389, Heroic 402, and Mythic 415.
