The first faction you'll encounter in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight is the Dragonscale Expedition. Thankfully, thanks to the Renown rework, you can earn reputation with them immediately while not sacrificing the potential to participate with other factions you'll encounter later in the game.
This means you don't have to choose immediately which faction to align yourself with or experience multiple tutorials and introductions. You simply get to play the game, quest through the Dragon Isles, and reap all the benefits!
Who Are The Dragonscale Expedition?
No other faction encompasses the meaning of adventure like the Dragonscale Expedition. While their base is found in The Waking Shores, their presence is felt throughout the entirety of the Dragon Isles.
From rock climbing, to World of Warcraft's version of Pokémon Snap and Assassin's Creed-style waypoints, the Dragonscale Expedition offers casual and fun gameplay and quests. It's a great change of pace that helps fit the overall tone of the Dragonflight expansion and is something that World of Warcraft desperately needed.
