In the third phase of the Season of Discovery in World of Warcraft, Tailoring reaches its maximum with a skill cap of 300. With the new rank in Tailoring, there is new cloth shoulder armor to be crafted related to the new PvE event Nightmare Incursions.

The new patterns will require Inert Mantle of Nightmares and Nightmare Seeds, along with some other cloth items and essences.

New Tailoring Recipes SoD Phase 3 - Cloth

These new Tailoring Recipes allow you to make some very powerful armor for your shoulders if you are a cloth armor wearer in Season of Discovery Phase 3.

Leveling Tailoring in WoW's Season of Discovery

To start with tailoring, you can begin with any of the following trainers:

Horde Tailoring Trainers

Victor Ward in Undercity (/way 70, 29)
Vhan in Thunder Bluff (/way 44, 44)
Snang in Orgrimmar (/way 63, 49)

Alliance Tailoring Trainers

Uthrar Threx in Ironforge (/way 43, 28)

Phase 3 Tailoring 225-300 in WoW SOD

If you are starting fresh, continue past this section to see older phases of leveling guides. For now, we focus on what's new with phase 3, and therefore we explore the 225-300 skill bracket. You can learn Artisan tailoring from only 1 NPC per faction. They are:

Timothy Worthington in Dustwallow Marsh (Theramore Isle) (/way 66.2, 51.6).
Daryl Stack in Hillsbrad Foothills (Tarren Mill) (/way 63.6, 20.8).

225-300 Item Requirements

You will need the following items to go from 225 to 300 in tailoring. Note that if some skill ups fail, you may need slightly more than these. We recommend if you have the extra gold, to grab an extra stack of each just in case.

Level from 225-300 in Tailoring By Crafting These:

225-230:Black Mageweave Gloves
230-250:Black Mageweave Headband
250-260:Bolt of Runecloth
260-275:Runecloth Belt
275-280: Runecloth Bag (Purchase Pattern or get in Winterspring at /way 61, 37)
280-300:Runecloth Gloves

Here are the required materials to level through the Apprentice, Journeyman, and Expert leveling brackets for tailoring:

Craft These Items To Level Tailoring from 1-225

With all of the ingredients in the above section, you will be able to craft the following items, in this order. Be sure to pick up Journeyman at skill level 75 and Expert at skill level 150 so you do not wait any crafts when you are maxed out on your skill cap.
