Phase 3 has begun in World of Warcraft's Season of Discovery. Players with blacksmithing are now able to reach its pinnacle with a skill cap of 300. This advancement opens the door to crafting powerful new plate armor using items from the new Nightmare Incursions PvE event. Along with these new patterns, players with blacksmithing will also be able to craft any other gear they have historically been able to use in the vanilla version of wow.

Choose Your Specialization

If you are level 41 or higher and have Blacksmithing at least at 200 skill, you can unlock one of the specializations related to blacksmithing as of the start of phase 3 of Season of Discovery. Note: You do not need to choose a specialization right away, feel free to decide and pick it up later. These three specializations are:

  • Weaponsmithing
  • Armorsmithing

You can choose any of these specializations, depending on your class and what kind of patterns you can make with each one.

If you choose Weaponsmithing, you can further specialize in Axes, Swords, or Hammers.
