In phase 3 of Season of Discovery in World of Warcraft Classic, players with the Engineering profession can finally reach the max skill cap of 300. Along with this release, new Bind on Pickup epic bracer patterns are available for engineers. Engineers will also be able to make any of the historical patterns that exist in the vanilla version of WoW.

Note: You will need to reach level 41 before being able to unlock Artisan Engineering, so make sure you get at least that first level in before heading to Gadgetzen to unlock it!

Engineering Guide 225-300 in WoW SOD (Phase 3)

If you are starting fresh, continue past this section to see older phases of leveling guides. For now, we focus on what's new with phase 3, and therefore we explore the 225-300 skill bracket. You can learn Artisan Engineering from only 1 NPC:

  • Buzzek Bracketswing in Gadgetzan (/way 52.2, 27.6 in Tanaris).

You also can start your Engineering specialization once you level to 41 or higher. Head to Gadgetzen to choose either Goblin Engineering or Gnomish Engineering. Goblin focuses on bombs and dynamite, and Gnomish focuses on gadgets and trinkets.

225-300 Item Requirements

You will need the following items to go from 225 to 300 in Engineering. Note that if some skill ups fail, you may need slightly more than these. We recommend if you have the extra gold, to grab an extra stack of each just in case.

Level from 225-300 in Phase 3 SOD By Crafting These:

  • 225-235: 20x Mithril Casing
  • 235-250: 20x Hi-Explosive Bomb
  • 250-260: 30x Dense Blasting Powder
  • 260-285: 35x Thorium Widget (Buy the schematic from Orgrimmar if you are horde at (/way 75.6, 25.2) or in Ironforge for Alliance at (/way 68.2 44).
  • 285-300: 20x Thorium Tube (Buy the schematic in Winterspring at (/way 60.8, 38.6)
