Although World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth may have ended up being an expansion that some of the community had major problems with, there's no denying that the original cinematics for the content hinted at an epic Horde versus Alliance throw down like the game has never seen. The story focuses on some of the most interesting characters from both factions, but the Horde players ended up getting a lot more screen time as the War Campaign played out.

Now that the story has come and gone, one creative fan has managed to reimagine the World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth story in the fashion of an iconic anime opening credits number. The end result is full of some amazing art and brings the energy of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure to Azeroth.

The fan-made anime opening was created by Star Duke and it draws from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind for inspiration. The crossover works incredibly well and the iconic music and animation style breaths some exciting energy and life into the conflict between the Horde and the Alliance as Saurfang, Anduin, Sylvanas, Jaina, and others take the stage.

Fans seem very happy with the end results and are already using the comments to beg the creator to make additional videos inspired by Death Note and other famous anime opening credits...

This is the second fan-made WoW trailer in the last few weeks, the first of which looked back at the Worgen starting zone. Fans are definitely still engaged with the MMO even though the current expansion is nearing the end of its run, so hopefully the game has another burst of popularity when Shadowlands ends up arriving in late 2020.
