Shadowlands, the next major expansion for Blizzard Entertainment's World of Warcraft, released its first pre-patch today. However, the full release of Shadowlands was delayed to later in 2020 on October 1 so the developers could polish and build upon player feedback. In the meantime, fans of the popular MMO can get their hands on a World of Warcraft gaming chair from Secretlab.

There are two designs available now based on the Alliance and the Horde, with both the regal gold-and-blue pattern and the sinister red-and-black pattern available for Secretlab's 2020 Omega and Titan series chairs. All versions of "the world's first official World of Warcraft seats" have varying price points based on customizable features such as upholstery, but start around $450 for the Omega series and $489 for the Titan series.

Secretlab has a number of different brand deals currently available for its lineup of gaming chairs, with the limited-edition World of Warcraft patterns subject to having potential discount codes based on a contest in which interested buyers choose which side they align with. There are over 56,500 entries as of this writing. Other Secretlab pattens include CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077, Riot Games' League of Legends, and DC Comics' iconic villain The Joker.

Despite Shadowlands' delay announcement, the marketing for World of Warcraft accessories to tie in with its expansion is still going strong. An official World of Warcraft edition Blue Yeti microphone is available now, and a Humble Bundle is active until October 29 that can net fans several ebooks in what Blizzard calls its "Legends Library."

The expansion will bring players into a new realm based on Azeroth's afterlife so they can "investigate a conspiracy to unmake the cosmos" and bring legendary characters back to the world of the living, according to Shadowlands' official description on the World of Warcraft website. On top of new zones, features, and updates to character customization, Blizzard is adding a free player mount based on a poll it conducted earlier this year.

While World of Warcraft helped put Blizzard on the map, it is not the only property under its purview. World of Warcraft, Diablo, Overwatch, and more are likely to be spotlighted during BlizzCon 2021 in February, which was recently announced to be a digital-only event due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. It's possible even more tie-in merchandise will be announced during that event for those who feel a Secretlab chair is not enough.

World of Warcraft is available now on PC.
