Highlights

  • Lidamorrutu in WoW Remix is actually a form of Tuluradormi, a Bronze Dragon trainer, hinting at deeper lore connections.
  • The Infinite Dragons in WoW are former Bronze Dragons who seek to change the past for a better future in Azeroth.
  • Players are intrigued by the potential storyline of Eternus' faction of Infinite Dragons and hope to see more in the future.

A World of Warcraft fan recently noticed that Lidamorrutu, one of the vendor NPCs in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria, is actually the Infinite form of Tuluradormi, the Bronze Dragon Jewelcrafting Trainer from Dragonflight. This clever detail shows that not all the Infinite Dragons working with Eternus’ faction in World of Warcraft are completely new faces.

In WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria, players create new characters to cruise through the classic expansion, but with powerful abilities and modern convenience. That said, the limited-time event ties into the story of World of Warcraft, as it is actually an experiment being done by Eternus and her allied faction of Infinite Dragons to see if there are more lessons to be learned from the history of Azeroth.

Mists of Pandaria Remix players are experiencing an unexpected issue with one of the most iconic pieces of gear in World of Warcraft history.

However, one World of Warcraft player spotted a familiar face among Eternus’ new allies. While exploring the Infinite Bazaar where most of these NPCs are located, WoW fan and artist Ramavatarama noticed Lidamorrutu, the Gem Procurement NPC, looked oddly familiar. Upon closer inspection, they realized her visage was identical to Tuluradormi’s, the Bronze Dragon Jewelcrafting trainer in WoW: Dragonflight's hub city of Valdrakken, sharing pictures of the two on Twitter. Their names are anagrams of one another – a trait often shared between Infinite Dragons and their Bronze versions – indicating they are indeed the same person.

Who Are the Infinite Dragons in World of Warcraft?

  • The Infinites are Bronze Dragons in World of Warcraft who broke away from their dragonflight due to their desire to change the past to make a better future.
  • All Infinite Dragons used to be Bronze Dragons at one point in their lives.
  • Most Infinite Dragon names are anagrams of their Bronze Dragon counterparts, like Murozond from Nozdormu, Morchie from Chromie, and Lidamorrutu from Tuluradormi.

Fans who noticed this interesting detail immediately wanted to know the lore behind Tuluradormi’s transformation into an Infinite Dragon. Lidamorrutu could be a version of her from the future, from another timeline entirely, or it could be that the dragon simply agreed with Eternus' philosophy. Either way, players got a kick out of this clever callback, and appreciated that, no matter what dragonflight she’s working with, the NPC still had a passion for gems in World of Warcraft.

Eternus’ allied Infinite Dragonflight sets up an interesting story that World of Warcraft can use in the future. Until now, all Infinite Dragons have been villains. While some Infinities oppose this new faction, the ability to learn more about the Infinite Dragonflight from them first hand is something a lot of fans are looking forward to. If World of Warcraft Remix is popular, players might have the opportunity to see these Infinite characters again if WoW ever repeats this event with other popular expansions.
