World of Warcraft: Dragonflight fans have been affected by technical issues since its launch, but a Korean player and his team got lucky enough to break their way into the Dragon Isles and hit Level 70 in three hours. Blizzard has already made the journey to Level 60 much easier due to the changes in the Dragonflight pre-patch, but it would seem that this extends to the new expansion content as well. A key factor in speed-leveling now comes from World of Warcraft's professions, as the act of crafting now gives immense experience compared to Shadowlands.

The honor of being the first to reach Level 70 goes to Adelio, who earned the last bit of experience needed with a quest turn-in and some crafting. Though Korean servers are still plagued with the same issues as European and American ones, Adelio and his team managed to land on the Dragon Isles after a seven-minute wait for the boat to arrive, and made full use of their head start. Despite all the speed-leveling theories established before Dragonflight's launch, it was Adelio's traditional rush across the Dragon Isles quests that got him the victory.

One can never underestimate a simple plan perfectly executed – and for Adelio, this plan only needed two and a half hours. Many in the highest echelon of World of Warcraft players are catching up, however, as Twitch streamer Chaoswithin from Versatile has also made it to Level 70. In truth, it's quite possible to reach the level cap significantly faster than Adelio's record, as Echo's Gingi managed to do it in just ninety minutes of playtime, having been stuck in the character selection screen for just as long.

Adelio captured his race to World First with a Twitch stream, hitting Level 70 around the two hour and fifty-five minute mark. The final "ding" occurred in the snowy parts of the Azure Span, one of the largest World of Warcraft zones ever made. The next event that World of Warcraft players will no doubt keep an eye out for is the Mythic Vault of the Incarnates race for Dragonflight Season 1. Much like Castle Nathria in Shadowlands, it will start around the holiday season on December 12th.

However, with many players still being unable to login – let alone make their voyage to the Dragon Isles – Blizzard's focus right now is on fixing up the technical issues of Dragonflight's launch. Hopefully, they will not persist as long as Warlords of Draenor's issues did.
