World of Warcraft: Dragonflight - The Shadow of His Wings Quest Guide
In order to access The Shadow of His Wings quest, players must fulfill a few prerequisites. Specifically, fans must complete these three quests: A Cultist's Misgivings, Punching Up, and Under Lock and Key. For full clarity, the first two of those quests can be obtained from Ingot, a Dragonkin located on a cliff at 39.5, 48.3 in The Waking Shores, and the final quest can be obtained from Ayasanth at 37.4, 46.6. These two locations have been marked on the map that is below, and players should make sure to visit the eastern one first.
After completing A Cultist's Misgivings, Punching Up, and Under Lock and Key, Ayasanth will be set free from his cage, and World of Warcraft fans should speak with him to start The Shadow of His Wings. With this quest accepted, players should make their way to 36, 47.8, which is just to the west of Ayasanth. Here, players will find the entrance to a cave, and they should fight their way to the bottom in order to confront Cygenoth.
Once Cygenoth has finally been dispatched, players should again speak with Ayasnth, who is now located at 39.6, 48.4 This conversation marks the end of The Shadow of His Wings quest, and it is at this moment that players will receive their rewards. Among those rewards is 150 Valdrakken Accord Reputation, which is sure to please players that are working to increase their Renown with that major faction in World of Warcraft's Dragonflight expansion.
To note, this is not the only Valdrakken Accord Reputation-granting quest that may give players a bit of trouble. Indeed, the Rapid Fire Plans quest and the Stay a While quest in WoW: Dragonflight, both of which are initiated in The Waking Shores, can also prove to be confusing. However, with a bit of patience, and perhaps some assistance, fans should be able to complete those quests and claim their rewards without a great deal of difficulty.
