Stay a While is a quest in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight that players can initiate by speaking with Veritistrasz, an NPC that is sitting near the Ruby Life Pools in The Waking Shores. The first step toward completing this quest is to click on the Stay a While extra action button that will appear when in Veritistrasz's vicinity. Clicking on this button should cause the player character to sit next to the quest giver, and fans will be ready to advance to the next step when that occurs. That said, some players report that add-ons can prevent a WoW character from sitting when the Stay a While extra action button is pressed, and fans that encounter this issue should try temporarily disabling their mods.
Once the player character is sitting next to Veritistrasz, fans should click on the NPC and select his "Sit and look at the view" dialogue option. This will cause Veritistrasz to begin a story, and players should click on the WoW NPC and prompt him to continue every time that he stops talking. This process will ultimately take a bit more than five minutes, and the final prompt that fans will click before the quest is marked as complete is "tell me more about your friend."
To note, selecting the "get up and leave" dialogue option when interacting with Veritistrasz will reset his story, forcing players that are trying to complete the Stay a While quest to start from the beginning.
