World of Warcraft is adding a new button to vendors in its next Dragonflight patch that will make players’ lives a lot easier. Though many players used addons to bring this feature to the game previously, it will now be an official part of World of Warcraft.

Since the launch of Dragonflight, World of Warcraft has implemented tons of updates to its user interface. From new resource windows and HUD features to customizable positioning and accessibility options, World of Warcraft has done a lot to improve the UI in subtle ways.

In Patch 10.1.5, World of Warcraft is adding another new button to the vendor UI window that will save some players a lot of trouble. Previously, vendors only had two buttons that were used to repair a character's equipment. However, a third button is being added that allows players to automatically trade in all their junk–items with gray names and a coin over their icon at the vendor, usually without use other than selling. Additionally, all three of these buttons are receiving new high-resolution icons similar to those Dragonflight added for professions.

Interestingly enough, many World of Warcraft fans already had a Sell Junk button in the game. World of Warcraft addons like Scrap and SellJunk had similar functions that allowed players to automatically liquidate useless items, and even mark other items as junk. That said, other features in WoW like quest waymarks started as addons too–and considering plugins can sometimes break or cause bugs, it is always good for them to become native features of the game.

While almost every player will consider this new feature to be a universally good one, some warned their players not to use the Sell All Junk button lightly. Certain items, including some readable lore books and collectibles, are classified as junk and could be automatically sold when a player would have wanted to keep them. Additionally, since World of Warcraft now allows gray and white items to be transmogged, players could accidentally sell an item before using it to unlock a new appearance–or that could be sold on the auction house for more Gold.

This new button isn’t the only thing coming in Patch 10.1.5. Among plenty of other things, World of Warcraft is adding an Infinite Dragonflight-themed megadungeon and some repeatable quests that explore alternate realities of Azeroth. Though the content update doesn’t have a release date yet, players can expect it to drop sometime in the next couple of months.

World of Warcraft is available now for PC.
