World of Warcraft: Dragonflight - Hidden Hornswog Hoard Puzzle

In order to solve the Progressive Hornswog puzzle, players must collect three items that are scattered across The Waking Shores in WoW: Dragonflight. Those items are the Adventurer's Lost Soap Bar, Marmoni's Prize, and the Well-Preserved Bone, and the following map and details should make it quite easy for fans to find them:

  • Adventurer's Lost Soap Bar: In the barrel filled with water at 39.6, 84.7.
  • Marmoni's Prize: In the crates behind the tent at 47.7, 83.6.
  • Well-Preserved Bone: Top of the tower at 66.2, 55.3.

With these three items in hand, WoW players should return to the Progressive Hornswog, who is located at 64.9, 69.9, and click on one of them within their bags. This action will cause the items to be combined into a treat, which fans should then throw at the Progressive Hornswog to force him to leave his position in front of a cave. There is a chest inside this cave, which is dubbed the "Hidden Hornswog Hostage," and looting it will resolve the Hidden Hornswog Hoard treasure.

For those players that are curious about what they will earn by solving the Progessive Hornswog puzzle, the Hoard contains the Roseate Hopper pet. This small purple frog is a new Aquatic-type Battle Pet in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, and it can learn the following abilities: Poison Spit, Healing Wave, Frog Kiss, Tongue Lash, Acid Rain, and Terrifying Toxicity.

To note, there are several Dragon Glyphs in the vicinity of the Progressive Hornswog and his Hoard. While it is not mandatory that players collect absolutely every Dragon Glyph in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, doing so will make it easier to explore the Dragon Isles. It is thus recommended that fans seek out a map that showcases the locations of all the Dragon Glyph and make sure to pick up those that near the Progressive Hornswog before they leave the area.
