World of Warcraft just shared the patch notes for phase two of the Dragonflight pre-expansion patch. The new patch is the last major milestone before the full launch of World of Warcraft: Dragonflight on November 28.

The new patch expands upon the Talent Trees and UI updates found in phase one of the Dragonflight pre-patch. Phase two adds a new race and class, dungeon, and world event, plus balances and tweaks across World of Warcraft's combat system.

Starting November 15, players will be able to make dracthyr Evokers–the new draconic-themed race and hero class. These warriors will awaken on the Forbidden Reach and play through their unique starting experience as they catch up on what they missed over the last 20,000 years in stasis. Players interested in learning more about the dracthyr should watch the Dragonflight Legacies animated shorts, which feature Scalecommander Emberthal, a major character they will meet on the Forbidden Reach.

Players will also be able to participate in the limited-time Primal Storms world event in World of Warcraft. The Primalists conjure powerful elementals to wreak havoc across Azeroth, and players who face them can earn unique rewards including cosmetics and catch-up gear. Players can also explore Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr, the first dungeon in Dragonflight. A new wing of the original Uldaman dungeon from Vanilla WoW has been discovered, and the Dragon Queen Alexstrasza charges players with uncovering the secrets found within.

World of Warcraft is also implementing tons of balance changes across its new Talent Trees and user interface updates. The last vestiges of Shadowlands are also being retired, as the Threads of Fate system is being discontinued, with the last expansion now joining Chromie Time. Perhaps most importantly, the iconic silver dragon border for Rare mobs–previously removed with the new UI updates–is making its triumphant return.

Were that not enough for players to get excited about, World of Warcraft also just announced a pre-launch livestream event. During this event, several World of Warcraft developers will be present to talk about Dragonflight’s development. Lead cinematic narrative designer Terran Gregory and cinematic director Anna Morgan will also premiere the official Dragonflight launch cinematic. November 15 also marks the first day of Dragonflight’s Twitch drop campaigns, with the next corresponding with the expansion’s launch and the opening of the Vault of the Incarnates raid. The next few weeks promise to be an exciting period for World of Warcraft players as they count down the days until Dragonflight takes to the skies.

World of Warcraft is available on PC. Dragonflight launches on November 28.
