Some new data found in World of Warcraft’s Public Test Realm suggests when players can expect Dragonflight Patch 10.0.5 to drop. If World of Warcraft is going to use the time-sensitive challenges related to the new Trading Post, players can expect the new Dragonflight patch very soon.

World of Warcraft is gearing up for Patch 10.0.5, its first content update since the launch of Dragonflight. The Trading Post is a new monthly activity coming in Dragonflight Patch 10.0.5. Players can complete different activities to get progress toward a budget of monthly currency, which can then be used to buy special World of Warcraft collectibles. Players recently datamined a selection of activities they can complete during the first month of the Trading Post. Some of the activities are associated with the Valentine’s Day Love is in the Air event, while others are associated with the limited-time Hatching of the Hippogryphs world event. These, as well as the monthly visit of the Darkmoon Faire, have specific dates in February listed based on when the events will take place.

The Darkmoon Faire event begins on February 5, while the Love is in the Air event begins on February 7. If World of Warcraft is planning on using these challenges in the live game, Dragonflight Patch 10.0.5 would need to be live before these dates. Considering the Trading Post challenges reset monthly, it would be reasonable to suspect World of Warcraft is seeking to release this patch in late January or early February. As such, players can safely guess Patch 10.0.5 will come with the weekly reset on January 31 or February 7.

World of Warcraft players are excited for the Trading Post. Though similar to a battle pass in structure, the Trading Post offers many exciting World of Warcraft cosmetics and collectibles to be earned through a variety of in-game tasks, and can be accessed free for all players. Hardcore raiders, pet collectors, crafters, and casual players should have no trouble completing the varied tasks every month for maximum rewards. At first glance, the Trading Post seems to be a universal win for World of Warcraft. Players should be sure to visit their faction’s Trading Post once the feature goes live and try it out for themselves.
