World of Warcraft: Dragonflight has hidden profession masters across the Dragon Isles which reward players who find them. These profession masters can give World of Warcraft players some awesome boosts to their professions if they speak with the hidden NPCs.

Among the overhauls to various systems, interfaces, and mechanics in Dragonflight, World of Warcraft rebuilt how the Profession system works from the ground up. With crafting and gathering trees, new interfaces, and specializations, World of Warcraft players interested in professions may have to completely relearn how crafting and gathering work in Dragonflight.

World of Warcraft players interested in mastering their chosen professions will eventually want to seek out their profession master. These NPCs are hidden in various corners of the world. When players with the appropriate profession speak to them, the profession master will provide a dialogue option that, when selected, grants the player 5 Knowledge Points for crafting professions, or 10 knowledge points for gathering professions, as well as 25 Artisan’s Mettle–a valuable crafting material. Players can earn these bonuses as long as they have at least 25 skill in their chosen profession.

There is no quest to find these profession masters, nor any hints as to their existence beyond the NPC’s Master titles. Only by players encountering these masters with the appropriate professions did they discover the benefits of doing so. Now that they have, several World of Warcraft content creators, such as the YouTuber Gold, have guides on where to find these elusive masters to earn the bonus points for their professions.

Some players have noticed the Blacksmithing master seems to be bugged at the moment. Rather than giving players Blacksmithing Knowledge, she erroneously gives Mining Knowledge instead. World of Warcraft will undoubtedly fix this glitch in the future, but players with the Blacksmith profession will have to be patient until it does so. Until the bug is fixed, Miners can get the bonus for their profession from either the Blacksmithing or the Mining master, but not both.

The profession masters are just one of the many secrets that await players in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight. Players can find hidden sidequests full of emotional moments, adorable rewards, and big lore reveals all over the Dragon Isles. So far, players have enjoyed everything they have experienced in Dragonflight. As more players reach max level and start digging into the endgame progression of Dragonflight, players will be able to start truly mastering their chosen World of Warcraft professions with the help of these hidden masters.
