A group of World of Warcraft fans have recreated an iconic dungeon from Cataclysm in Minecraft. This incredible World of Warcraft map allows players to explore the epic dungeon in a whole new way.

Eternal Dawn is a small group of gamers who specialize in creating fantasy-themed buildings in Minecraft. Their YouTube page is full of amazing Minecraft builds and tutorials for projects ranging from awesome cathedrals, statues, and cities to a recreation of the Jedi Temple from Star Wars.

Another of its recent Minecraft builds was that of Wyrmrest Temple from the End Time dungeon. This amazing map features the massive draconic temple located in the Dragonblight of Northrend as it appeared in the dungeon during World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. The temple itself can be explored both inside and out, and prominently features the massive corpse of Deathwing impaled upon its pinnacle. Eternal Dawn was even able to add lava spewing forth from the maw and wounds of the giant dragon just like in WoW. Like their other projects, players can download the Wyrmrest Temple map for free and explore Eternal Dawn’s version in Minecraft.

This is actually the second foray Eternal Dawn has taken into creating epic World of Warcraft locations in Minecraft. Previously, Eternal Dawn shared an incredible design of the Tomb of Sargeras dungeon from Legion. With spires of fel magic, towering demonic edifices, and even functional portals, the Tomb of Sargeras map flexed the creative skills of Eternal Dawn which have only improved in their later maps.

World of Warcraft fans were understandably taken by Eternal Dawn’s work on the End Time map. The incredible details immediately evoked nostalgic memories of players who spent hours completing the dungeon a decade ago, back when Cataclsym was at its height. Though all of Eternal Dawn’s maps receive praise from their fans, the Tomb of Sargeras and Wyrmrest Temple maps are among the most popular of their projects, so players hope to see more World of Warcraft maps from them in the future.

Dragonflight has been live in World of Warcraft for over a month now, and players are quite taken with what they have seen so far. With beautiful, expansive zones filled with wholesome quests, World of Warcraft players have plenty to discover in Dragonflight. If Eternal Dawn decides to make more World of Warcraft projects, Tyrhold, the Ruby Life Pools, or any number of other places from Dragonflight’s dungeons might be perfect places to recreate in Minecraft.

World of Warcraft is available now on PC.
