Highlights

  • Frog farming on Timeless Isle is the best way to quickly earn Bronze in Mists of Pandaria Remix for World of Warcraft players.
  • An efficient frog farming operation can yield up to 60,000 Bronze per hour, surpassing other methods in WoW.

World of Warcraft players have rediscovered the joys of frog farming on the Timeless Isle, as this method seems to yield the quickest source of Bronze in Mists of Pandaria Remix. In preparation for The War Within and its Warbands feature, Blizzard Entertainment released Mists of Pandaria Remix, a convenient way for World of Warcraft players to level up new alts while experiencing one of the best expansions in the game's storied history.

Mists of Pandaria Remix restricts players to just the continent of Pandaria. However, their Remix characters are able to experience the full breadth of content from the expansion all the way to the level cap. Unlike Dragonflight characters, there is only one currency that matters to World of Warcraft players in Mists of Pandaria Remix – Bronze. It is obtainable from a wide variety of sources, such as killing raid bosses, disenchanting items, or even looting random mobs.

World of Warcraft Remix: Mists of Pandaria is officially live, and players now know exactly how long the PvE event is going to be available.

While there is more than enough time for World of Warcraft players to obtain the Bronze needed for their chosen mounts and outfits, one old farming method from Mists of Pandaria seems to have emerged as the most efficient. As pointed out by AedionMorris on the main World of Warcraft subreddit, frog farming on the Timeless Isle yields a hefty amount of Bronze in Mists of Pandaria Remix. On top of that, players can also redeem their Lesser Charms of Good Fortune for an item cache and random gem at any reputation as a repeatable daily quest.

How Frog Farming Works in World of Warcraft

The most efficient setup of a frog farming operation in Mists of Pandaria entails forming two separate groups of up to four players. This allows all players to safely tag a frog without worrying about stealing each other's kills. If enough Gulp Frogs are lured and killed in a concentrated spot, it will trigger a hyperspawn. Each subsequent Gulp Frog slain will spawn another one shortly after, allowing World of Warcraft players to gather an impressive amount of 60,000 Bronze every hour. While raids in Mists of Pandaria are no longer on a weekly lockout, it would appear that frog farming beats out any other farming method for Bronze by a significant margin.

The Timeless Isle remains one of the best World of Warcraft zones ever designed, and subsequent endgame content has often tried to emulate its magic to varying degrees of success. It is strangely fitting that an event designed around reliving and celebrating Mists of Pandaria as an expansion has funneled players into using one of its most popular farming methods for a new purpose entirely.
