As there as several different systems when it comes to growth in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, players expect to have a few currencies to deal with. Most of these currencies are somewhat explicable and gems deal with embeds and copper tackles upgrades.
But observant players will likely notice that they get something called an accolade at various points in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. At first, they don't do anything, so players may not feel the need to farm them up. But a specific kind of player should be on the lookout for every opportunity to farm up accolades.
How To Get Accolades
- Avenge a player by killing the enemy that killed them.
Be on the lookout for enemies with purple fire around their morale rank. This means that the opponent has killed someone. Killing that enemy will count as avenging the dead player. These kills yield a certain quantity of accolades, tied to the difficulty of the monster killed.
Gamers that understand morale and fortitude know that enemies are a bit tougher if they've vanquished other players, usually one full morale point higher. Still, this risk is usually worth the reward. If players can successfully kill the target, they'll get this rare currency.
How To Use Accolades
- Beat 'In Search of the Immortal Wizard' in part three.
- Talk to Zuo Chi in the Hidden Village.
- Choose 'Accolade Reward.'
Accolades can finally be spent with Zuo Chi in the Hidden Village. If players need to get a respec for their current build, this is also the same place to make such changes. He offers an array of items. Completionists will take it as a personal challenge to collect all of the gestures.
Zuo Chi also offers mystery weapons and armors in exchange for accolades. While hoping to get lucky on missions might yield the right piece for a build, this is yet another way gamers can roll the dice. Players can select a type, such as leg armor or dual swords, then hope for the right piece. It might take a while, but the gamble will pay off eventually.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
