Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has been released and is generating a lot of hype, particularly among fans of Souls-like games. The blending of RPG and martial arts has been one which is visually stunning, and the story which traverses ancient Chinese mythological aspects is filled with intrigue for fans.

6 Tianzu Hermit
One of the finest light armor sets available in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Tianzu Hermit is a set that looks similar to martial arts attire. 5 Blue-Eyed Child
A special medium armor set, the Blue-Eyed child armor is a hugely impressive set that can be a great middle-ground for players looking for an all-around build. Neither too heavy to restrict movement nor too light to save players from significant damage, the Blue-Eyed Child armor has some impressive boosts for set bonuses.
Additional ammo bonuses which help players retrieve more upon ranged attacks and an increase to the maximum volume of ammo which can be held are hugely helpful for building range-focused characters. Martial arts spirit consumption is reduced with enough pieces of the armor set worn, and if players use weapons like the halo and Tiger Hunting Bow, which also count as part of the set, they can gain a huge melee attack damage bonus as well from the Blue-Eyed Child set.
4 Ser Magnificent Beard
Guan Yu will provide the player with access to this heavy armor set. There is ample protection for the player against wood attacks, and alongside the Azure Dragon Crescent Glaive players are able to unlock the full bonuses of the “With Sky High Righteousness” perks.
These include bonuses for spirit gain from deflecting, martial arts spirit consumption, and damage reduction when deflecting critical blows. There is also a glaive damage increase when using the full set with the glaive. While this is not a build for beginner players, as much of the bonus is focused on successful deflections and being a strong counter-attacker, it can be incredibly powerful for experienced gamers used to games like this such as Nioh 2.

Like the Blue-Eyed Child armor set, the Boldness set of armor is a Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty medium armor type. Also, like the Blue-Eyed Child set, the Boldness set creates a perfect build for a certain type of weapon. Instead of archery, the Boldness set is for players looking to use a spear as their primary weapon.
With the Dauntless Warrior bonus for wearing the whole set, which includes the Unparalleled Spear weapon, players get a huge bonus for spear damage, power gain upon deflection, increases in morale rank points gained, and a decrease in deflect spirit consumption. This makes for a powerful build if players are looking for a set of armor to go with their spear warrior build.
2 Tyrant Overlord
Another light armor set available in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, the Tyrant Overlord set is only available following the defeat of Dong Zhuo. This is about halfway through Wo Long, so it can be difficult for players to assemble the full set of this armor, but it is hugely worth the trouble. "The Renegade of the Heaven’s Will" perks for completing the set are hugely important.
Players using the full Tyrant Overlord armor set and the Triumphant Conquest weapon will gain an HP bonus, a power drop upon fatal strikes, HP restoration from melee attack damage, and a huge bonus for spirit damage to enemies with negative effects. This set of perks is amazing, making the Tyrant Overlord at the very least the best light armor set available in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
1 Unscrupulous Hero
Among the very best heavy armor sets in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is the Unscrupulous Hero set. If the player forms a bond with Cao Cao they can unlock this armor, which gives out the Hero Beyond the Age set bonus.
Though heavy and restrictive, the Unscrupulous Hero armor gives huge defense and solid spirit defense as well. The set bonus includes an increase in morale rank points gained and marking flag detection. More pieces of the armor together at once allow the player to slow enemies with martial arts and gain huge sword spirit damage bonuses. If players use the entire armor set as well as the Heaven’s Reliance weapon and the accessory “A Brief Explanation Of Sun Tzu” they can create a focused build using some of the best skills in the game and cast spirit vulnerability on enemies using martial arts.
