A new mod has been posted to The Witcher 3's NexusMods page, designed to carry over Geralt and Yennefer's faces (as portrayed by Henry Cavill and Anya Chalotra, respectively) from Netflix's recently released The Witcher series into the game. The show has been enthusiastically received by Witcher fans, and tens of thousands of players have already begun to replay The Witcher 3 after finishing season 1 of the show, leading some to add Cavill and Chalotra's faces into the game as well.

It has only been a few days since the release Netflix's The Witcher series, and while critics can't seem to make up their minds about the show, audiences can't get enough of it--it's already Netflix's highest-rated series ever on IMDB as fans of both the books and video games rally around it. So, it shouldn't be terribly surprising that the equally-beloved Witcher 3 is now getting mods that bring a little bit of the show into CD Projekt Red's virtual world.

PC owners with The Witcher 3 on their computers can download a mod that'll transform the default appearances of Geralt of Rivia and Yennefer of Vengerberg, as one modder has created versions of both modeled to resemble the characters in Netflix's new show. Geralt's new face (and body) is the more detailed of the two; not only is his face modeled after Cavill's, but he also has a new face map that displays after drinking potions and reaching high levels of toxicity that reflects the show's interpretation. And for players who care about total accuracy, the scarring on Geralt's body will also match Cavill's Geralt with this mod, and his Kaer Morhen armor matches the show's armor.

Meanwhile, the new Yen actually has multiple versions available for download, with different complexions and levels of makeup applied to her face, given Yen's relatively more changeable styles in the show depending on whether she was navigating a court or a battlefield. Both actors' performances were well-received, with fans especially loving Cavill's portrayal of Geralt despite some early skepticism, so perhaps a decent number of the players returning to The Witcher 3 will prefer this version of Geralt and Yen coming with them.

Regardless, there's no need to wait for the chance to try out this mod; it's available right now on the NexusMods official Witcher 3 page, for those who want more of the Netflix series but have already consumed the eight available episodes of season 1.

The Witcher is available to stream on Netflix now, and The Witcher 3 is available for Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
