The Story

Spy Classroom Students

The world has been engulfed in war for a long time, and there are countless casualties on every side. So now, as if agreeing to the same thing for the first time in a while, every nation involved in the war has started to slowly abandon the machines of war and began to rely on covert operations instead. And thus, the age of deceptions, betrayals, and spies has officially begun.

The small country of Din Republic pride itself in its reliable spy network, however, there’s always room for improvement. So a decision was made to form a classroom consisting of promising yet oddball candidates that will be taught the knowledge of spycraft by one of the best spies in the country, a dashing yet scatterbrained man named Klaus. And the first mission that he gave to his students is to defeat him. No matter when. No matter where. No matter how.

Assassination Classroom + Spy x Family

Spy Classroom Assassination Classroom Spy x Family

As you might’ve probably surmised from reading the summary above, Spy Classroom feels like a combination between the Assassination Classroom and Spy x Family. We get a nation involved in a game of shadows with its enemies, and the spies from each side are ready to infiltrate, sabotage, and even assassinate their target without fail. And at the center of one of the nations involved in this spy war, is a class full of promising yet oddball spy candidates who are tasked to defeat their instructor. That is practically the combined promise of Assassination Classroom and Spy x Family.

That being said, Spy Classroom is not just a cheap version of those two iconic anime. On the contrary, the more we dive into the series, the more thrilling and complex the story becomes. In a way, the premise is pretty much the only similar things about this series and Assassination Classroom and Spy x Family. Just a couple of episodes into the story, and you’ll soon realize that it has its own unique things to offer to the spy genre.
