With all the excitement going around about Marvel stuff, DC stuff, Star Wars stuff, and just stuff in general, it can be easy to lose track of pretty much anything that doesn't dominate the news cycle 24/7. For instance, remember the spinoff/sequel to That '70s Show called That '90s Show that was announced a while back featuring Eric and Donna's kid going to spend the summer with Red and Kitty? Well, it turns out it might have another familiar face returning to the fold.

Wilmer Valderrama, who played Fez on the original series, now suggests that his return to the role on Netflix's That '90s Show is possible, but not guaranteed. While he was theorized as part of the original cast reprising their roles along with That '90s Show's new cast members, it turns out that timing may be a big issue going forward. It makes sense that there would be scheduling conflicts, given Valderrama's numerous projects going around at the moment. But according to the actor himself, he'd still like to take part if he can.

In an interview with TV Insider, Valderrama spoke about his affection for That '70s Show and its cast, including his desire to possibly return to the role of Fez if his schedule permits. "I'm a little busy now," he said when asked about That '90s Show, "but I support them so much. I'm rooting for them. I wish them nothing but the best. And if the timing is right, I'd never say no." Valderrama currently enjoys a regular spot as Special Agent Nick Torres on NCIS and is also set to play the title role in Disney's upcoming Zorro series (different from The CW's other Zorro series with a female lead in the works), so the timing conflicts are certainly understandable.

Valderrama's performance as Fez on That '70s Show quickly endeared him to audiences, making the character an easy fan-favorite. While his flirty nature wouldn't be out of the norm in any given group of teenagers, it was that combined with his bright-eyed fascination and enthusiasm as a foreign exchange student of ambiguous ethnicity that turned him into the standout role he became. It seems some of that might have bled over from his real life, given his reaction to landing the role of Zorro in the new series. "The series was playing in Venezuela when I was watching TV in Spanish," he reminisced during the interview. "One day, I told my father when I was just a little boy that I was going to someday be Zorro!"

Netflix's That '90s Show will serve as a spinoff to That '70s Show with a whole new generation of Point Place kids. The new series will focus on Leia Forman, the daughter of Eric (Topher Grace) and Donna (Laura Prepon), who travels to the house from the original series to spend the summer with Eric's parents, Red (Kurtwood Smith) and Kitty (Debra Jo Rupp). While there, she ends up bonding with other teens in Point Place, Wisconsin, while the Forman grandparents return to their roles as watchful authority figures.

Shut Eye's Callie Haverda will play Leia, while the spinoff will also star Ashley Aufderhaide, Mace Coronel, Maxwell Acee Donovan, Reyn Doi, and Sam Morelos as the new leads. Along with Grace and Prepon, both Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are reportedly in talks to reprise their roles to some degree as well. So it looks like it's almost time to hang out down the street once again.

That '90s Show will premiere exclusively on Netflix.
