Divinity: Original Sin 2 includes an option to create a character; however, it also allows the player to select one of six Origin Characters as their main protagonist. 6 Aries or Taurus: Beast
Of all the Divinity protagonists, Beast is most likely to sally forth with little thought for consequences. His first rebellion against the Dwarven queen failed, resulting in his exile. Energetic, bold, impulsive Aries will find kinship with Beast and his own vigor—and will enjoy charging headfirst into battle with him.
Yet despite these qualities, Beast also stubborn and strong-willed, unwilling to abandon his unfinished business with Queen Justinia. Tauruses are slow, persistent, and never give up; they find fulfillment in a long-awaited payoff. Players under the sign of the bull will find immense satisfaction in seeing the culmination of Beast's rebellion finally play out for him.
5 Aquarius or Virgo: Fane
Aquarians love big ideas, and Fane is a big thinker. This centuries-old skeleton seeks to understand the nature of the universe, and not even death can stop his thirst for knowledge. Occasionally he can grow fanatical, constantly wanting to push boundaries with his studies—a desire Aquarians are all too familiar with.
Out of all the protagonists, Fane's quest includes the greatest depth of lore. His tale provides vital revelations on the history of Rivellon, Source, and the Void. As lovers of intellectual stimulation, Virgos will appreciate the background knowledge and plot details that Fane's story provides. Those under this sign will also relate to Fane's meticulous nature and dedication to his work.
4 Cancer or Capricorn: Ifan ben-Mezd
Disciplined and goal-driven, Ifan sports many Capricorn traits. Those under the sign of the goat will appreciate his determination and dark sense of humor, since those are characteristics they share. Furthermore, Capricorns tend to be loners, and Ifan is literally a Lone Wolf.
Ifan has lost faith, loved ones, and his sense of belonging—things that Cancers hold dear. This sensitive sign will sympathize most with his plight, and understand the ways his past has hardened him.
