Epic Games has recently launched a brand-new chapter for its uber-popular battle royale title, Fortnite. In the action-packed (and cameo-packed) reveal trailer for Chapter 4, Season 1, fans got a look at what to expect in terms of new collaboration events and cosmetics. Epic not only teased a new skin for The Witcher's Geralt, but the game maker also showed off skins for Doom Slayer (from the Doom series, of course) and Izuku Midoriya from the My Hero Academia anime. Fans of the series might know Izuku as none other than Deku, a student at U.A. High School who grew up without a Quirk, which is the equivalent of a superpower in the My Hero Academia universe.

When is Deku Coming to Fortnite?

While Epic Games has not officially come out and stated the exact time that the My Hero Academia collab will kick off, the company put out a tweet to announce that a new trailer is coming on the morning of December 16. And according to reputable Fortnite leaker HYPEX, Fortnite's item shop will reset around 1 PM UTC on December 15, and the cosmetics that are part of the collab will be available for purchase. This should be around 5 AM / 8 AM ET on Friday morning. The collab's content will no doubt be revealed during the trailer that airs tomorrow morning.

Which My Hero Academia Characters Are Coming to Fortnite?

Deku, Shoto, and Dynamight side-by-side

Because there has only been one instance of Deku's costume in the reveal trailer for Chapter 4, fans aren't sure which other My Hero Academia characters will make it into the battle royale game. For the Naruto collab that happened last year, there were four main characters from the anime that were turned into Fortnite skins.

Suppose we end up just seeing some of the more popular heroes from the anime. In that case, fans might end up playing as characters like Shoto Todoroko, Katsuki Bakugo, Ochaco Uraraka, or even All Might. Either way, the My Hero Academia collaboration will surely have some fan-favorite skins that'll make some people happy.

Fortnite is free-to-play on mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
