The year 2022 is looking good for HBO Max subscribers, with the streamer just releasing a sizzle reel to offer an exclusive glimpse at the various projects that it will be premiering in the coming year. There are some new television series joining the roster, while new episodes of some of the streamer’s most popular shows will also air, including the long-awaited season 4 of Westworld.

As part of the HBO Max promotional video, fans will be able to see some of the most-loved Westworld characters returning for the next season. There are glimpses of Ed Harris' Man in Black, Thandiwe Newton's Maeve, and Aaron Paul's Caleb Nichols. The third season of Westworld premiered in March 2020, with a long wait for fans to see what happens next.

Apart from Westworld, the HBO Max video consists of new footage from several of their other returning projects. The video includes clips from the third and final season of His Dark Materials, the second season of Kaley Cuoco's The Flight Attendant, the second half of the first season of The Nevers, the second season of Raised by Wolves, and season 2 of the Gossip Girl reboot. Due to production delays caused by the ongoing pandemic, some of these HBO Max shows have been on hold for a long time. While no release dates are revealed in the streamer’s sizzle reel, fans can rest assured that their favorite shows will return some time in 2022.

It seems like it will be a packed calendar, with several new shows already lined up for release. There is exclusive footage from some of the streamer’s upcoming and much-awaited series in the sizzle reel. Fans can catch glimpses of the debut season of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, the true-crime drama Love & Death starring Elizabeth Olsen, the Game of Thronesspin-off House of the Dragon, The Suicide Squad spin-off Peacemaker, an adaptation of The Time Traveler's Wife, real-life murder mystery The Staircase, and Julia Child's biopic Julia, among others.

Some of 2021’s major films will also be released on HBO Max next year. These include Ryan Reynolds' action-comedy Free Guy, Vin Diesel's F9: The Fast Saga, and Matt Damon's The Last Duel. Joining the list will be a few new films, including the remake of The Father of the Bride, Zoë Kravitz's Kimi, The Fallout, Scoob: Holiday Hunt, House Party, and Moonshot. The streamer will also premiere Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts, the reunion special that brings the Harry Potter cast back together.

Westworld season 4 will premiere on HBO Max in 2022.
