Hacking plays a major role in Watch Dogs Legion, and it is at the center of the game's Hack the Planet trophy. Indeed, players that want to unlock this achievement will need to propagate a hack across eight targets at once, and some fans may be unclear on exactly how that is done. Fortunately, there are two great places to propagate such an extensive hack, making this Watch Dogs Legion's trophy quite easy to earn.

The first step to unlocking the Hack the Planet achievement in Watch Dogs Legion is to obtain a Hacker with the Viral Hacking skill. This skill is what gives hacks the ability to propagate, and players can earn themselves a Hacker by completing Clarion Calling, a main story mission that focuses around turning Camden defiant. After completing this mission and obtaining the Hacker, fans should simply select them and proceed to the next phase of earning the trophy.

This next phase is the hack propagation itself, and, as previously mentioned, there are two locations where it can be done very easily. The first is Trafalgar Square in the City of Westminster, where many people can be found protesting, and Watch Dogs Legion players should search this area for a group of at least eight individuals in close proximity. They should then highlight one of these characters, hold L1/LB, and hold X/A to perform the multi-person hack and earn the Hack the Planet trophy.

For those fans that prefer to focus their efforts on inanimate objects, the parking lot at Buckingham Palace (also in Watch Dogs Legion's City of Westminster) is another great spot for unlocking the achievement. Here, players can simply move eight of the cars from the lot next to one another and then propagate the hack across all of them. Again this is done by highlighting one of the targets and then holding L1/LB + X/A, and the hack will cause the cars to move in one direction if performed correctly.

Notably, this achievement is very similar to many of the other ones that are available in the game, and players that are going for the Platinum trophy will become quite familiar with this format. More specifically, this format revolves around recruiting one of Watch Dogs Legion's Skilled Operatives and then using their unique abilities to perform designated tasks. While these trophies are not extremely difficult to obtain, determining the best places to perform the tasks can prove tricky.

Watch Dogs Legion is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, and later on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
