To start, it is worth noting that the 15 First Operatives are procedurally generated, which means that the full lineup will be different for each Watch Dogs Legion player. That said, the skills that are assigned to these recruits are from a predefined pool, and it is thus possible to talk about what skills a player should be looking for when selecting a First Operative. More specifically, First Operatives with skills that grant weapons or vehicles can essentially be ignored, as these items can be found in abundance early in the game. So too, Watch Dogs Legion recruits with skills that shorten arrest and injury times can be dismissed, as they will not do much at the start of the game.
This leaves less than half of the listed skills in play, and most of them are perfectly suitable options for a First Operative. Indeed, while a player might get a slight edge at the very beginning of the game by selecting a character with something like Albion Vendetta or Physically Fit, this decision will ultimately matter very little as fans start earning achievements in Watch Dogs Legion.
This is especially true due to the fact that players will be able to recruit any character that they want after spending only a small amount of time with this action game. These characters include the powerful Skilled Operatives in Watch Dogs Legion, and fans will easily be able to replace their First Operative if they have selected one with a skill that is not optimal.
Watch Dogs Legion is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One. The game will launch with the Xbox Series X on November 10 and the PS5 on November 24.
