With a newcomer-friendly start, Wasteland 3 offers fans an incredible semi-open world for them to explore while strategizing their every move in apocalyptic Colorado. One of the more overlooked aspects of Wasteland 3 is modifying weaponry.
Weapons can be modified, assuming players have a character with the Weapon Modding skill, and will provide much better effectiveness in terms of combat. It's important to utilize the best weapons mods in Wasteland 3 so that players are able to control the battlefield in strategic combat with ease.
2 How To Modify Weapons
It's dire not to overlook the power of weapon mods, as they can boost the damage of weapons, the stats of weapons, and even change the weapon type to a different one, such as the Energy element. Now, to attach a weapon mod onto a gun or melee weapon, players need to have at least one Ranger in their party with a skill level placed into Weapon Modding.
Once they have a character capable of modding weapons with the respective skill, players will then want to open up their inventory screen. In order to find weapon mods, players will have to scavenge every corner of Colorado to find weapon mods by chance in various containers. Otherwise, players can purchase weapon modifications from different vendors throughout Wasteland 3, one of the best co-op games released in 2020. But, players are also able to craft weapon mods directly from their inventory menu. This mechanic provides a simple and easy way for players to obtain weapon mods and instantly equip them with their characters' weapons.
To craft a weapon mod, players need to invest in the Weapon Modding skill with at least one of their characters. Then, while in the inventory screen, players can press the "Craft" button to transition to the crafting menu. This menu showcases everything that players are able to create, along with weapon mods. With each level that is spent on Weapon Modding, players will be able to craft better modifications for their weapons.
