Wasteland 3 fans have recently had a lot to be happy about. The turn-based isometric RPG from inExile Entertainment has recently received a major DLC in the form of The Battle of Steeltown, which has carried on the game's focus of giving players meaningful decisions that affect the course of the game. Wasteland 3 has been going pretty strong ever since it released in August of last year, and things are about to get even more exciting for fans of the game.

The summer announcement season has already brought with it some very thrilling news for gamers all over the world, and one of the biggest companies getting in on the action early is Koch Media. Although the company has opted not to share information on the next Saints Row or Dead Island games just yet, it was to make room for the announcement of a brand new publishing label, as well as new games and other projects. Game ZXC attended a Koch Media pre-show where the label was revealed, as well as some information on what's next for Wasteland 3.

One of the key features of Wasteland 3 is how important decision making is to the outcome of the story. The game really gives influence to the player's decisions, no matter what side of the game's conflict they fall on.

This importance towards decision making carried into The Battle of Steeltown DLC, and fans that are already looking towards what comes next can be relieved to know that Wasteland 3 will in fact receive more DLC in the future. Game ZXC received a statement from Koch Media regarding the state of Wasteland 3's DLC, and when to expect the next one.

" The Battle of Steeltown is already available for PC, Xbox One, and PS4, so you can jump right into the action. And you can expect more of this from our second DLC which has yet to be revealed in name or in detail, but will come this summer. It will also include a new location, characters, challenging combat, and  Wasteland 's signature focus on player choice and consequence."

Although details for Wasteland 3's second DLC aren't ready just yet, it's likely that they'll come out sooner than later if the expansion is set to come out this summer. With all of the support that Koch Media and Prime Matter have been giving to its new and adopted projects, the next Wasteland 3 DLC will likely give fans even more of what they've come to love from the game.

Wasteland 3 is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
